On February 12, 2025, Southwood Inc. was added to the "J-Startup WEST" list by the Shikoku Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry as a promising startup from the Shikoku region that will spread its wings and spread its wings to the nation and the world.
What is J-Startup?
This is a program promoted by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry to support the development of startup companies. The program aims to select from the many startups in Japan that can compete and win on the global stage, and to provide new value to the world through innovative technology and business models.
About J-Startup West
J-Startup WEST, the regional version of J-Startup, selects promising startups from the Chugoku and Shikoku regions that will take flight across Japan and the world as J-Startup WEST selected companies. 28 companies are selected from the Chugoku region and 11 from the Shikoku region. Public institutions and private companies work together to support the selected companies in their rapid growth.
With the support of this program, we will continue to push forward with the development of medical AI.
