Notice of Participation in a Project Selected for AMED’s FY2026 "Medical-Engineering Collaboration and Artificial Intelligence Implementation Research Project"
We are pleased to announce that our joint research project, conducted in collaboration with the University of the Ryukyus, Tokushima University, Kyushu University, Hokkaido University, and Kitasato University, has been selected for the Fiscal Year 2026 "Medical-Engineering Collaboration and Artificial Intelligence Implementation Research Project" funded by the Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development (AMED).
Project Title:
"Development of an Integrated Safety Net Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) Utilizing AI for Early Detection of Heart Failure Worsening and Support for Clinical Decision-Making by Non-Specialists"
Program Objective:
This program promotes the development and practical social implementation of AI services and medical products within the healthcare field.
Project Overview & Funding Details:
•Focus Area: Development of AI services or AI products aimed at reducing the workload of healthcare professionals.
•Planned R&D Period: August 2026 (tentative) – End of FY2029.
